Twenty-four young sailors from across Punjab gathered at Head Baloki for two days of competitive dinghy racing. The regatta was organised by the Lahore Marina Boat Club in conjunction with the Punjab Sailing Association, marking a historic milestone for inland water sports in Pakistan.
Competitors aged 12 to 21 faced changing wind patterns across a 3.5-kilometer buoy course. Spectators viewed the finals from the club’s elevated riverside deck, cheered on by families and club patrons. With flawless safety supervision from our chase craft, the event concluded without incident and paved the way for an expanded calendar in autumn.
